Perfect place for a relaxing stay
We had a really enjoyable stay at Walawwa Villa Kathaluwa. The Balcony Room was lovely — clean, comfortable and spacious, with a nice balcony that was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area.
The location is excellent, with the beach, cafés and restaurants all easily accessible. The villa has a peaceful atmosphere, and everything was well looked after.
Our host was welcoming, friendly and always available when we needed help. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to other couples visiting Sri Lanka.
We would happily stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Walawwa Villa Kathaluwa. The villa was clean, comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the host was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back! 🇫🇷❤️

It was quiet, spotless, and family answered any queries.
Looked prior to staying at photos , if you are a family staying I think accommodation looked outstanding and reviews great.
A couple not so sure. We paid 30,000 for 2 nights. Private bathroom but you had to walk into the families spare room to access it, so not joining. The family area to the bathroom is separated by 2 curtains. Advertised as delux room. Air con worked well, and spacious, no mosquito net, 1 power point only . 2 pillows, no complimentary water in room. But welcome coconut juice.
Day 1 no hot water ( was not told when we checked in). Water only working day 2 - 5:45 pm. Owner gave us a small discount and took us free of charge to a lovely restaurant 2 km away called La Carta- highly recommend.
