De Rain Eco Beach Resort was the perfect place to start our Uganda trip.
The location is great, close to both Entebbe Airport (only about a 15-minute drive) and the main road, which made our early morning flight super easy. The cottages are lovely, the team is incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. We can highly recommend the fresh tilapia!
Waking up to the beautiful views of Lake Victoria was the perfect way to begin our adventure.
Thank you to the whole De Rain team for your warm hospitality. We’d happily stay here again!

The location was great for my work engagement, the breakfast was excellent and my room faced the lake so i had a beautiful view. I love the sitting area, we checked out at 12pm, but left the hotel for Kampala 6 hours later, because we were enjoying the outside scenery and hospitality.
On the first day my room was kind of stuffy.

Only the sea view at the restaurant
The staff were very slow with everything. The breakfast was so underwhelming they should improve a lot.
