Nice neighbourhood where you could feel like a local. Close to train station (about 10 minute walk). Host was very accommodating and had good communications.

- Well-furnished with all the necessities for a fuss-free self-catering travel: washing machine, efficient dryer in the bathroom, sufficient towels, dining utensils, refrigerator, oven, microwave.
- Excellent and restful location in a residential area, yet very close and convenient to get to Shibuya, Omotesando area etc.
- A good base in the western part of Tokyo with a flavour of quiet local life, away from the hectic and dreary buzz of the city.
- Well-located: Near a couple of supermarkets - FamilyMart and Tokyu for a wide range of groceries. The train station was a short 10 mins walk away.
- The heater in the shower is not always reliable.
- The bed is a little soft, which might not be so good for those who need more support for the back.
- The apartment is generally clean, however there was a spider in the house and under the bed, there are clumps of dust bunnies. The house cleaning could be more thorough.
- It would be nice if there could be complimentary tea bags (more than 2) and a coffee machine with free capsules for guests.

The property itself was adorable — a loft layout in a genuinely quiet residential neighborhood. Think locals on bikes, people walking their dogs, zero tourist chaos. Felt completely safe, which as two Black women traveling solo, we absolutely clocked. Walkable to cute bars and restaurants, and close enough to the train station that we never needed a car.
I wish we had more towels and face clothes available for the amount of time we were there
