The location was perfect, overlooking the Shannon Estuary. Scenery was rural but beautiful. 5 minutes drive from town and shops.
The house is a little tricky to find, so pay close attention to the directions given.

Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits, zum Abschalten perfekt. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es gab alles was man benötigt. Der Eigentümer hat uns Brot, Eier und Butter dagelassen, das war eine schöne Geste!
Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Vermittlungsfirma hat auf Nachrichten nicht reagiert und stattdessen Spamnachrichten geschickt. Der Aufenthalt selbst war aber wirklich angenehm.

Location is remote, peaceful & enjoyable.The owner left a thoughtful welcome baskets of fresh soda bread, real butter, milk & organic eggs. The property is spotless & a real find.
The service from the company looking after the cottage was poor.

It was pure luxury to have stayed at the Boathouse . Whatever you need for a pleasant stay, you will find it there. Excellent rooms with adjacent bathroom, well equipped kitchen with the vieuw over the Shannon river.
If ever we would come back to this area we would choose the Boathouse without a second thought
