What a charming wee cottage, the location and extra touches were brilliant. The owners are always willing to help with any queries and the communication is excellent. Quiet and secure, friendly neighbours with Victoria St (the main strip in Kirkwall) being literally at your doorstep with St Magnus only being a 2-3 minute walk. Great fish and chip shop (Happy Haddock) also only 5 min walk away. Excellent location.

While there is no ‘view’ as it’s hidden away behind some larger buildings it more than makes up with its ambience and location.

Beautiful cottage hidden away minutes from St Magnus Cathedral and all the towns facilities. Cottage had everything you would need for a very comfortable stay.Somewhere cosy to return to after exploring the wonderful Orkney Islands.

There was nothing not to like. Some people may not like the initial look of the courtyard it’s set in,however it’s all very quiet and very safe.
