The condo had plenty of space and was well appointed. Beds were very comfortable.
This community is beautifully maintained. Just an FYI … this unit is on the second floor of the building , so if you have mobility issues, this is something you need to know. Although the condo is perfectly adequate for a solid 4 star rating , it just needs a bit of updating and modernizing to put it in the 5 star category. This condo was very spacious and clean, and perfect for a family or 2 couples. Kitchen was terrific , and had a balcony with a nice big grill for easy access. A fresh coat of paint, updated countertops, cabinets and tile would put this in a 5 star category… but all in all, a great spot in Palm Desert. The upper deck with access from the living room and primary bedroom, has lounge chairs and dining table overlooking the pool.
Although there was a large room darkening roller shade in the primary bedroom, the door had a faux wood blind that let a fair amount of light in the room. The 2nd bedroom had a screen roller shade only, and needed a blackout shade.
Also, being managed by a company, I never was able to have direct contact with an actual person with a name to answer questions. I never really knew who I was communicating with. It was difficult to reach the property “manager” when we had an issue at the security gate. We had to wait over a hour to gain access because the security guard couldn’t reach anyone. Also, when I asking about instructions on how to operate the gas fireplace , no one responded. It would also have been more helpful to have more detailed literature to help finding restaurants. The beauty of these older communities is that the condo’s are much more spacious than in newer properties. There’s a certain charm about not having the glitz and glamour of more swanky contemporary properties. This older vibe is what makes Palm Desert and Palm Springs so very special.
