The host was very friendly and helpful. The location was prime for access to the night market (just out front) with lots of shops and restaurants while the upstairs room was still very quiet and peaceful with a pretty view. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. The little balcony was a nice place to sit and drink coffee. There was a washer available outside the room as well as an electric grill if you wanted to cook on the balcony.
A flushing toilet is not available on the top floor (the bathroom in yhe top floor room includes a shower sink and sprayer and a portable bucket toilet,) so we needed to go two floors down to use the toilet when guests were on the second floor. Wasn’t a huge deal for us, it felt like a more local experience staying here in this homestay and that was worth more than the minor inconvenience.

Eds and pillows were very comfy. AC was good. Location was excellent.
Light outside room was automated and when other people walked past the room in the night, the light would come on - because the walls are make of some kind of Perspex material the lights just shone right through. Very disruptive

The location which is Bullseye in the old Quarter of Hanoi. Additionally the host was helpful and the price was a bargain.
The access was through a long corridor and through another apartment.
