Spacious apartment in lovely neighborhood with easy access to popular sights in Rome

Excellent location in the Prati neighborhood. Short walk to Vatican City, Castel Sant”Angelo and many great shops and restaurants. Clean, roomy and very spacious, comfortable apartment with elevator.

Washing machine did not work but we were told it would be replaced.

Horrible place. DO NOT STAY HERE

DO NOT STAY HERE Not all beds were made and ready for the 6 of us. There was a total of 2 towels in the entire unit. It was a full day before additional towels were delivered and when they did arrive, they were wet from being transported in the rain. On 3 separate occasions, one of us got stuck in the bathroom due to a faulty handle locking them in. We did not report this on the first day but it seemed that the owner knew that it was an existing problem because when I finally did report it he claimed that the maintenance person had fixed it earlier that day. Both of the showers had terrible pressure. The door on one of the showers is so insecure that it opened during one shower and actually shut off the light. After showering we went to dry our hair and one of the dryers smoked and sparked. There were outlets that were simply not secured into the wall. Being a family of firefighters, we know only too well the dangers of this situation. Upon entering I slipped on the unsecured rug in the entrance around the table. This rug was also filthy and old. It was by NO means an oriental rug that the owner refers to – it was made of cotton. In hoping to get some air into the apartment I tried to open a window in the kitchen which resulted in the handle coming off in my hand when I opened the bedroom cabinet to look for extra pillows and blankets and that is when I saw the stack of old, yellowed, used, bloodstained pillows. Please so not let them insult your intelligence by saying the unit has old world Italian charm. Dirt, disregard and disrepair do not constitute charm. By his admittance, the house has been vacated recently so there is no reason it should have been worn and lived it. We informed the owner we were leaving and had to find other accommodations.

Super great location. Opposite the apartment there is a great cafeteria Il Gianfornaio. All attractions are within walking distance. We really liked it, spacious, great location, perfect for our family vacation.
