The location was extremely convenient to commute in the city, close to the metro station, various bus lines and a brief walk from the coast and the city center. The design of the hotel was extremely interesting and the room we were assigned was perfectly comfortable for one to two people. The staff was lovely and constantly available. The breakfast was on the simple side, but filling (they also had a nice coffee bar). A lot of reviews mentioned a lot of noise because the hotel is close to a number of bars but we didn't find it particularly loud, even with the window open.
The bathrooms were a tad small so a little inconvenient. As quite typical for a lot of hotels, the soap stands were broken so bringing bathroom amenities into the shower was a challenge. The original booking was for one person, but we informed them a second person would be joining about 5 days before our visit, unfortunately they forgot to provide us with a second set of towels but nothing a quick notice to the front office could not fix.

Breakfast was very good . tea super hot, savoury and sweet things at our disposal. Lovely croissants and jams. We liked the decor of the room .
Difficult to get out of bed for the person against the wall. They obviously have done the max with the space. Atrium view is slightly pushing it.

The location was perfect, an easy walk to most of Thessaloniki's historical sites and surrounded by restaurants, one of which we found particularly good. The hotel (or it may have been Booking.com) had a taxi pick us up at the airport free of charge. The staff were pleasant and welcoming but not very competent, I'm afraid.
The style of the hotel, which had only recently opened, was extraordinary. The walls of what had been an elegant old building had been scraped down to the bare (tatty) plaster, which actually reminded me of a concentration camp I had once visited. It was all rather depressing. All of the fitments were designer but very much form over function. Everything seemed too awkward or difficult to use. The bed was too large for the room, meaning we had to sidle round it and there was no storage. The lack of space also meant that what served as bedside tables were about 15 cms in diameter and too tiny to serve any practical purpose. The small, inefficient bathroom was in a rather intimidating metal box in the bedroom and that was again redolent of some war-time institution.
