I liked the location and the entry system, the apartment was clean with a good kitchen, the washing machine was a bonus as we travelled light and given the heat in Rome when we were there, it was useful to be able to wash some clothes. Excellent communication with very responsive owners.
The air con in the main bedroom and the Kitchen was not that effective, the small bedroom was super cool. We would have liked a sofa or a couple of easy chairs to relax in in the evenings when having a nightcap.

I liked the location, as it’s close to a supermarket and a bus stop. The house also has some useful facilities, such as a kitchen and an iron, which makes it convenient for everyday life.
I would like to formally raise a complaint regarding our stay, as several issues significantly affected our experience and were not adequately resolved by the property owner.
First, the apartment was not properly clean. The floor was so dirty that we could not walk around barefoot without our feet becoming visibly black. There were also several maintenance issues, including a broken kitchen sink and a bathroom light that was constantly flickering.
Most importantly, the air conditioning in the bedroom stopped working. We stayed for three nights and experienced significant discomfort due to the heat throughout the stay. We contacted the owner several times to report the issue. Although the bathroom light was eventually fixed, the air conditioning was not repaired.
The air conditioning was one of the reasons we specifically chose and paid for this apartment. Given the price of the accommodation, we reasonably expected the advertised facilities to be functional. When we requested a partial refund or another appropriate solution, we were told to use the air conditioning in the kitchen. However, it was clearly not powerful enough to cool the entire apartment, so this was not a reasonable or effective alternative.
A fan was only offered on our final night, after we had already spent two nights dealing with the excessive heat. At that point, the fan did not meaningfully resolve the issue. We also requested either a partial refund or some flexibility with the check-out time as compensation for the inconvenience, but neither option was offered.
We understand that unexpected technical problems can happen. However, what is particularly disappointing is that the main issue was not properly resolved during our stay, despite us reporting it multiple times, and no meaningful compensation or alternative solution was provided.
