The house was well located in a little village on the outskirts of Montreuil and not far from a LeClerc for dinner and petrol! It is quirkily decorated and we loved the features like the formica table and dresser and car fenders, not to mention the records and record player.
There are two boulangeries very close by (a few doors down) so you don't need to worry about breakfast, and the owners left some coffee pods for the machine, some bon bons etc.
It also has a nice little garden so you can eat outside or relax on the sun loungers.
The owners were really helpful - we were delayed by four hours on the way but they couldn't have been more helpful and sympathetic and when we had a slight problem they came round straight away and sorted it out. It was very hot (heat wave) when we were there, but they made sure that there was ice in the freezer ready to put into the air cooling machine as well as fans and instructions about when best to open/close the windows and shutters, so it was cool enough to sleep.
Not a problem for us, but the stairs to the two upstairs bedrooms are very steep indeed - just something to be aware of for the very young or old or otherwise immobile. They do have a stairgate that you can draw across at the top, but an adventurous child might be able to open it. (It's otherwise very child-friendly - lots of toys etc!) There's also a downstairs bedroom if that is better for some people.
We managed fine for one evening, but for larger families and groups a bigger saucepan for cooking pasta, potatoes etc would be useful.

La décoration est magnifique et soignée. La maison est confortable et très propre, on s’y sent très bien. La literie est de grande qualité, on a très bien dormi.
L’accès à la maison est facile et autonome.
Un grand merci à notre hôtel, très gentille, à l’écoute et disponible.
