This was our second time here and it was as good as the first time, getting into the apartment was easy with the codes given by the owner. The apartment was also stocked with all the basic essentials needed for a stay, including a washing machine.
It was located in a very vibrant area, full of shops, restaurants, spas, landmarks and night markets.
I recommend this place to anyone coming to Kazakhstan who doesn’t want something very fancy but who wants something nice simple, clean and quiet.

Great place for couples or solo. Best location as it is walking distance to supermarkets, green bazaar, zhibek zholy metro station, zenkov cathedral and parks, and many nice cafes within 5-10min walk.
It will be good for the apartment to notify future stayers in advance that only CASH payment is accepted, as we were not aware of this payment method and had to scramble our way to withdraw cash in a foreign country. In our booking.com confirmation in one clause mentioned that Cash is not accepted, thus I was quite confused when I was then informed by the apartment that only Cash is accepted. As I had only exchanged little cash at the airport only to be used for trips to the villages and for our day tours(and not for this accommodation), so it was quite a stressful first night for me when I was told the apartment cannot accept credit card mode, and that I had to pay in cash on my first night. Finally around 11pm someone came to collect cash from me at the apartment after I managed to withdraw Tenge (SGD$500+) and I requested for a receipt just in case I was double charged (in booking.com as I already keyed in my credit care details, and then separately via cash). Overall the stay is comfortable, and i would prefer a firmer bed, and lesser water marks and rusting steel in the toilet amenity. The housekeeping part could be improved, because we were staying for for 1 week but did not have any washing machine detergent, only two pairs of towels, 2 half used toilet paper rolls, and 4 very small tubes of bathing/shampoo essentials at first. (In the cabinet, there were four empty bottles of detergent but not being discarded. In the oven, there was a used pan unwashed too). These items are really useful to have on standby by stayers, so I strongly urge the apartment to have them available in the apartment for usage. Also the bed duvet cover casing was not put on, I had to do it myself. I communicated these to the apartment and they then delivered the items to us within a few hours. Overall it is a comfortable stay and you get to enjoy the washing machine use and hang your clothes in the balcony too.
