My communications with Simona before and during our stay were excellent - she was always helpful and clear, including the "self check in" access to the apartment. She was also able to connect me with Emanuela who provided efficient return, limousine transfers between the airport/apartment @ EUR65 ew; again excellent communications with her. As with many small cobbled streets in Rome, via Clementina has quite a lot of graffiti but don't let that put you off as the area is safe and the apartment is lovely; a traditional Italian apartment with character. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a block which has a small lift which is big enough for 2 people with baggage. It is comfortable and was well equipped for our 4 night stay - given our sightseeing schedule, we opted to only have breakfast "in", eating out at lunch and at dinner. In addition to the listed items, there is also a microwave in the kitchen. The double bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable; there is no significant storage in the main bedroom as there is a large wardrobe in the hall. As we were a married couple, we didnt need the second bed which was a sofa bed - consequently we had use of 2 large sitting rooms. We love fresh air and liked the balcony,albeit is narrow with a small table and 2 chairs. The skyline is mainly a series of roofs over the city. The location is fantastic-with TheColosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain all within 15-20 minutes walk. The Cavour Metro station is 2 minute walk away which means travel to Vatican City using Ottaviano S Pietro is straightforward, with one stop at Termini - only 20 minutes on the Metro, followed by a 15 min walk. We can recommend Crown Tours who provide a variety of sightseeing tours, many of them hosted by very knowledgeable English speaking guides.
A very minor point - given it's design/age, the kitchen sink is rather stained and doesnt drain that well.
