Was a great location staff couldn’t do more for you.
Too bright in the bedroom area so was awake from 4:30 when sun came up. No WiFi for first night until the host turned it on.

Lovely quirky little place to stay. Lovely views and peaceful quiet place.
There was a few odd things that could do with fixing up but overall it was a lovely stay.

I really liked the ease and closeness of the river and the dog run - was perfect for my pooch! The decking on the shepherds hut was nice and the views overlooking the river were beautiful (even during the rain - which was most of my stay) - it was so lovely to sit an look out. The park itself was nice enough and the shepherds hut was nice enough for one person and a dog. Quite basic but thats what I wanted. Had all the kitchen amenities needed and the kitchen was a decent size! The shower was incredible!! SO hot and very powerful!! Bed was comfy enough too.
There was no mirror at all (I struggle to brush my teeth without one..) and a couple of light bulbs were out (although I could have asked for them to he changed I am sure - my digital interactions with the host were very pleasant). The hot tub was a little disappointing. I struggled to get it to hot and I did ask the host how to do this, however it made very little difference to temperature of the hot tub.

Quirky Shepards Hut in a peaceful location. Near the club house but not disturbed by any noise from it.
Too much chemical in the hot tub, causing my eyes to stream and shortness of breath as soon as the jets were turned on. I didn't stay on for long, but it was a nice private facility to have.
I wouldn't have described the bed as a double, fine for a single occupier (as I was) but if it was a stay for me and my wife it would have been very cosy.
Bulb missing in the shower, leaving the electrical contacts exposed, probably safe but not reassuring.
Door lock is from and opposite opening door, so cannot be secured as you leave.
