Disappointed. Could have been a lovely stay if some work was put I to this place

I liked the idea of this place unfortunately it didn't look anything like what I was expecting

No-one actually met us, no one greeted us as new guests even when visiting the club house. No shop, no pool no bar and food advertised in the club house not being served. No welcome pack in the room. Wifi didn't work. Maintenance without i.d coming into our hut at gone 10.30 at night the hottub and room was dirty. The kettle was full of scale. the hut itself needs work.

Do not book!

We arrived and was told that the key would be in one door, to which we quickly found it wasn't. We tried to contact and there was no reply leaving us standing there for an hour trying to get through to Someone. We then tried to go to reception to which it was closed as well as the clubhouse and the reception number wasn't recognised! Finally start around an hour Somone showed up who also couldn't find the keys to the property and had no clue what was going on. A local resident says all staff were at a party? Which left us stranded. He then called someone who said we was suppose to be in rv2 which was not the case as the booking stated rv1. Rv2 was shown to us and was very untidy, unclean and in a state. Inside and out including the hot tub. We refused to stay in this rv due to the state. He finally offered us a different rv to which we booked. It was cleaner than the other but still lacked any cleaning, no towels, no toilet paper. The toilet floor was flooded, the bed was not made and the overall rv was very unclean again, including the hot tub which we didn't end up using! What was supper to be a stress free stay away was a nightmare night, no relaxation but just a stressful ordeal.
