We loved our stay. We stopped off from the A1 /Scotch Corner. A short drive and you’re in a rural, beautiful village in a high quality atmospheric pub. The staff, decor, food and bedroom comfort - all excellent. Throughly recommend, we’re delighted to have found such a gem so close to the A1. Perfect.
Nothing not to like!

Very clean and comfortable!
Hadn’t realised the bath sat in the bedroom, not my first choice.

Room on the return trip from Scotland was suitable for our age
Range. Better than the the room with the very high bed we were given on
Outward journey to Scotland.
Had new room allocated to us on the
return trip so all was fine.
