Amazing place — very few tourists around, yet all the main attractions are easily reachable. The host was kind: informed in advance about the rules, stayed in touch the whole time, and gave us a very friendly tour of the apartment. The staircase and the flat itself are stunning — very old, authentic, spacious, and full of character. Great beds, a fully equipped kitchen with a small balcony, and everything you might need. The view from the windows is incredible — directly onto the canal, where you can see not only half of Venice (4th floor with an elevator) but also real everyday Venetian life. We loved our stay and would happily return.
