The Blue Mavi Hotel

Room is gorg, super clean and modern. Staff were super friendly and welcoming.

The rooftop infinity pool felt a little bit tacky and cheap, I’m not sure why but might be the plastic pool chairs and plastic fake wooden deck. The gym was super tiny could maybe fit 4 people in there without it feeling crammed.

I loved the pool , the staff were amazing too.

The location was down a long driveway , the lights to the room were automatic but really dark.

The property is very beautiful. When entering into the lobby there is a great vibe. There is a spa on site. The pool is nice. The gym is up-to-date. I love the tub on the balcony.

I don’t like that you have to pay for the sauna now, it used to be free. The pricing has gotten ridiculous. I stayed here last year and it was very affordable maybe a little bit more than some other places but still within a good price range. I actually found a deal online before I came to Thailand and when I called them to ask if they would honor it, it looks like they went on the website and raise the price of the room. It never did go back to that price. If anything the price kept going up. It was very suspicious because it happened right after I spoke with them. They told me to take a screenshot and send it to them, when I went back to rebook at that price, the price had doubled! I know they changed it. I wish I hadn’t sent the screenshot. Lastly, the chair on the balcony is so uncomfortable. I actually swapped it out for some chairs upstairs and it made my day so much better. You can’t get comfortable on the balcony with that little hard chair. Before I swapped the chair out for the one upstairs, I sat in the tub just to get comfortable.

The breakfast was good, staff were friendly.

It is overpriced but the worst thing is that there is absolutely zero soundproofing in the rooms so I spent the first half of my stay hearing one couple argue then the second half of my stay hearing the next couple make babies.
