The Palm Suite at Lava Mansion

Friendly staff, nice environment. Superb room, clean and fragrant. The best pillow and mattress. Recommended if your stay for leisure, if you come here for working, bear in mind the internet connection quite slow. Overall will surely repeat staying here

The cable internet tv always problem. Hope the internet connection can be improved. Chanel lag when watching, Netflix account suspended due to payment problem.

Theres no breakfast, but the proximity of the hotel with famous dining spot is close and in walkable distance.

Just a heads up that a wardrobe and a towel bar would be amazing additions to hang our things! Also, it would be super helpful if the ironing board was already set up next to a plug point so we don't have to move it around to use it.

The room was spacious , my girls enjoyed the whole place. The location was close by to all local attraction Beach is just walking distance,

The smell outside of the room is a bit weird, fishy smell and that's a bit a uncomfortable there is no lift for elderly who cant go via stairs

The room itself is pretty. I mean the wallpaper is gorgeous, the whole vibe is very trendy. It also SEEMED very well located but it was not. There was a couch, there was a large bathroom but it was overall as pictured, in a way. The only lovely thing is how nice the staff was. The guys that helped bring our bags were lovely, the laundry brought up to us was done well, they were great cleaners too. No complaints about the staff at all.

The location is godawful. You cannot easily walk from the hotel to go anywhere, it crosses an extremely busy intersection of 4 lanes of cars that NEVER SEEM TO STOP, and it is extremely dangerous to go by foot, and even to exit via a car. This was meant to be an easy area to access Georgetown on foot, and it was anything but. One of the most harrowing experiences of my life. The hotel room itself was also not at all what I expected. Two tiny rooms, nothing at all like what we paid for as the upgrade in the photos with a couch in front of the beds. It was tight, it was not extremely clean - mouldy, the bathroom was also weird with like a pool-like thing you had to step into (?). The pictures were extremely deceiving. We got there and there was absolutely NO indication that the hotel was at the back. You stopped in front where the old entrance was that says LAVA MANSION and you unload there, thinking you are staying in that building. NOPE. You had to cross the back parking lot to to a smaller building. It was hot, we were all grumpy and then we had to figure out how to get there. Then we get there, and the bloody sign for telling us where to go, was sitting tucked away in between the vending machines and the couch. Why it wasn't installed is beyond me. I would 100% never ever book here again. This is not THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed in but it is certainly not a great one.
