The beds were comfortable, rooms have wardrobes and mirrors, they were a bit small but this is normal for Ireland. The flat is nicely decorated, bath towels were provided. They even have a living room with a kitchen but we only made coffee, so no feedback on this. The owner's office did not work at the weekend and we arrived on a Saturday, but it was possible to contact them if necessary. Fortunately, all was well, we didn't meet them but exchanged messages and they sounded like very nice people. Thanks!
Street noise at the weekend - it's on a high floor, but there are bars and tons of people talking on the little square below until after midnight. We were tired and just closed the windows, but bear in mind if you are a light sleeper. Not a problem on weekdays though. The shower cabin is tiny. Some stale-water whiff from the washing machine, it's time for maintenance. TV required using your own accounts, no regular tv programs. That I really did not appreciate is the combination of 100 EUR cleaning fee + instructions where to throw away extra trash. There is a bin in the kitchen, we filled maybe 20% of capacity so not a problem for us. It's rather the unpleasant feeling that Booking.com has started operating like airbnb. I want to base my decisions on the full price - accommodation, fees and all. There should be very clear upfront indication of extra fees and a filter on this while looking for accommodation.

Amazing location! Nicely decorated and comfortable. Had coffee in room to get you started.
My husband is 6’3ft so he hit his head a lot. If you have mobility issues, might be hard to get up steps.

The apartment was very nice and cozy at a great location in downtown Galway. It can be a bit noisy during the night but that is to be expected in a downtown location.
There was nothing really wrong with the accommodations but the fridge did freeze all of our drinks which was unfortunate.
