Fall Deals on the Beach!

This cottage is in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach. It’s the perfect size for a couple. There are several restaurants, grocery, and cafes within a short drive.

Parking can be tricky. I was concerned with the “reserved parking” signs. Check-in with the property owner to understand where it is safe to park.

It was very cute, clean, and close to the beach. The owner was very accommodating when i asked if i could check in early or check out late. As long as there wasnt a booking on either side, she let me pay an additional fee, which came in handy with my flight times in and out of town.

I know this is silly, but my friend who came to pick me up asked me to put in a warning for future renters or a suggestion for the owner. When it rained, the steps got so slick he fell pretty hard. He is in great shape, doesn't drink or do drugs, and had plenty of sleep. I believe him when he said it was truly pretty slippery. Maybe some grit tape or grip mat or something on the steps would save someone else from a nasty fall on the concrete below the steps. It rains a lot on and off there, and he lives there, so he is used to it. He is also from up north and is used to ice on steps. Anywho, again, I know its silly. And that is literally the only negative bit about my stay. Altogether, great experience with the owner! :)
