Needed location close to LSU campus for graduation weekend with small pet. Street view of booking would have be beneficial in locating the VRBO. Owner was reachable by text if we had any questions.

I cannot recommend this property enough! The host was kind, communicative, and even checked in on me multiple times during my stay. I will admit, I was a bit skeptical upon viewing the exterior of the property as the location is in a “sketchy” neighborhood (that’s what my Uber driver said when dropping me off), but I was not bothered by anyone a single time during my entire stay. I felt very safe and comfortable here as a solo female traveler. As for the interior, it is extremely clean, cute, and included all of the necessities such as silverware, coffee machine, towels, etc. The host even provided a little snack box with popcorn and other assorted goodies. If you’re traveling to Baton Rouge and wanting to stay near LSU, this is the place to stay!

Second floor cute apartment super close to LSU campus, but some travelers may not feel comfortable in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the hot water wasn’t working for our stay and the mattress springs poked us all night. Overall, the apartment is clean and has some nice amenities, but the bathroom smelled damp and the mat in the shower was gross. Communication with the owner was 5 stars and they apologized for the issues. Hopefully with some updates they can get 10/10 scores again.
