The location was great, with plenty to do and see within walking distance. The beach access was right across the street and easy to reach. The oceanside views were beautiful. The room was large and had necessary amenities.

We had a serious leak (assuming from the AC) that covered the floors in the living area and bedroom in 509. The staff was very apologetic and quick to respond. We did have to pack everything back up, move to another room, and then unpack again. We thought they might have offered something for the trouble. They didn't, but we still enjoyed the stay.

Our rooms air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Everything felt damp- I thought it would improve but it did not. Once we reported it- Engineering came to troubleshoot but we did end up switching rooms. Additional fee for parking at the facility seemed excessive.

I liked the breakfast, and the food at their restaurant. Best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Rooms are very nice. Valet parking employees were nice. My view from my original room on the 8th floor!

Not enough carts for transporting luggage. The pool was way too small for a RESORT, too crowded to swim, they need another pool. Never any pool towels available, unless you got there early. Anyone can walk in and go to the pool. Last resort I was at in SPI, we had to wear wristbands. Trying to be on vacation and little kids throwing balls, and pool water got inside of my $13 drink. Staff doesn’t seem to listen when you explain something. Shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty in the room we were moved to. Thankfully I bring my own. Valet damaged my car (didn’t file a claim, because I already had issues with my reservation.) They try to deny everything… I have before and after photos. Camera footage would confirm it. I booked my reservation in January 2026, for July 31st-August 3rd on my booking.com credit card. I also paid for the resort fees in January. When I checked into the Hotel, they charged my card $290 as a hold. Upon arrival our room was ready, we unpacked, and the room was hot. Maintenance came and said that he would get us moved to another room, resort fees reimbursed and $100 for a meal at their restaurant. He had to move the guest from that same room the night prior. We were moved from 8th floor ocean view, to 3rd floor ocean view. :( Even after telling them I ALREADY PURCHASED the resort fees at booking, I even had my receipt, they still took resort fees AGAIN! It took two weeks to be refunded for the 2nd charge for resort fees taken from my checking account, and I was never compensated for the resort fees for having to be moved. They don’t credit third party. My Booking.com is a credit card. They seen I paid the fees, they could have just credited my checking account. So we were not compensated as promised. Drove 8 hours, spent $1,950.24 for this.
