Location was great - just on the edge of the Old Town but inside the city walls. You can walk to bus station, beach, supermarket as well as all the sites in Old Town within 15minutes. Useful kitchenette outside the room. AC, hot water and WiFi all strong/plentiful. Beds were comfy. We were able to leave our bags on-site after check out. Prompt communication from the host.
I went peak tourist season so think it was overpriced but it was certainly a good deal for the location/time of year in comparison to what else was a available. A 15 pound cleaning fee was added as an additional a fee which I thought was steep, particularly when towels from previous guests were left in the bathroom. Checkout is 10am which was a bit earlier than I would have liked. Not a problem for me, but it is on a busy street with bars and cafes so there is street noise from early in the morning until late at night. If you are in rooms 1-5, I don’t think this would be a problem.

The host was exceptional—warm, responsive, and genuinely accommodating. Checked in was easy.We also appreciated the thoughtful 15% discount at their well-known sandwich place, which was a lovely touch.
It’s genuinely unfortunate because so much about the property is lovely, and the host deserves special recognition for being so welcoming and accommodating. If the bathroom ventilation/odour issue and the window privacy could be properly addressed, this would be a much more comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.
One significant issue that unfortunately affected our experience: the bathroom had an extremely strong and persistent unpleasant smell. It was not simply a minor inconvenience; at times, the smell was so intense that we tried to spend as little time in the bathroom as possible. On first night we left the bathroom door open during the night, and the smell was strong enough to wake us.
There was also a privacy concern with the apartment window as they are visible from outside. We therefore had to turn off the lights when changing clothes, which was not particularly comfortable.We had a lovely stay overall and really appreciated the apartment’s spaciousness, character, and atmosphere
