Perfect location

I only recommend this accommodation if the price you are paying is extremely low

Honestly, there are no particularly positive aspects to highlight. The location may be considered central for some people, but this is completely overshadowed by the many issues with the property and the overall discomfort of the stay.

My stay left a lot to be desired. The apartment is very old, poorly maintained, and in bad overall condition. It is not well cared for and clearly shows a lack of maintenance. One of the biggest issues was the heating, which is extremely inadequate. In the middle of January, in a city as cold as Dublin, they attempted to solve a one-week stay with a portable heater, which is completely insufficient and unacceptable. In addition, the noise is constant and excessive. The apartment is located in a party area, and the building is very old, with wooden window frames that provide absolutely no sound insulation. You can clearly hear conversations from the upstairs neighbor, every time someone enters or leaves the building, and the main entrance door makes such a loud noise that it causes the entire building to vibrate. The apartment door vibrates so strongly that it sounds as if someone is trying to force it open, and when people go up or down the stairs, it sounds as if they are inside the apartment. On top of that, there is a KFC directly below the apartment. If you open the bedroom window, the entire apartment fills with the smell of fried chicken, as the air exhaust duct is located right outside that window. The industrial fans run until at least 4 a.m. every day, producing a loud and constant noise that makes it impossible to rest. Regarding cleanliness and the interior condition, it was also unacceptable: the apartment was not truly clean, the bed makes a lot of noise, the towels were dirty, there was a strong smell of male sweat as if someone had not showered, and the furniture is old and unpleasant-smelling. Overall, there is a clear lack of care and maintenance. Finally, when I tried to resolve the situation through Booking, it was impossible to properly prove many of these issues, as they cannot be easily captured in photos (noise, cold, smells), which makes the cancellation process extremely difficult.

Ingresso sporco che offriva riparo a senza tetto tossicodipendenti, puzzava di urina con l'odore che si propagava fino all'interno dello stabile. Appartamento sporco: presenza di briciole e polvere ovunque, finestre con vetri sporchi. Il bagno cieco non era dotato di aspiratore. L'acqua era calda solo in determinate fasce orarie.
