The place is beautiful, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere. Tiko and Hasmik, the managers, were especially kind, helpful, and attentive, making sure everything was comfortable for us. We truly appreciated their hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to others.

This place was magical. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. the view was out of this world; the food was excellent and the facilities exceeded our expectations. they really did a wonderful job creating this magical space. The night we spent at Shakaryan was our most memorable experience from our entire trip to Armenia!

Place itself is very beautiful and well located, you have outstanding views, panoramic windows, and lots of places nearby to hike and walk. Breakfast itself was very tasty, restaurant service is very good, actually, the restaurant itself is very good, even a bit overpriced. Unique farm to table experience. Rooms had luxury l'occitane amenities.

When you pay a lot, you expect outstanding service; this is what was missing in the hotel. When we arrived, the guy in the parking lot told us to remove the luggage. We removed the suitcases and moved to the reception, where another guy without any uniform tried to check us in, then told we need to place our luggage back to the car and drive up. So why hassle your clients and tell them to remove belongings if later, you will ask to place them back? Definitely staff needs training. If someone in Armenia pays $150+ for accommodation, they expect great service, which you dont provide. A day earlier, we were staying in a similarly priced hotel in Dilijan, and the service staff did not even allow us to touch our luggage and moved it to our rooms on their own. That's the true service! We were there with our friends from LA, and we're glad we were there as translators, as no one speaks English except for one restaurant waiter. The room's build quality itself was very low; there were water leaks from the shower to the main room. Next when we got to the room, it was almost 30 degrees there. I think in this level of pricy accommodation, you need to switch on the AC in advance, you are not in a hostel, we paid a lot. So your guests can come and enjoy and not wait in front of room for 30 minutes until it gets cold. If you position yourself in the market as a luxury accommodation, you need to provide great service. The worst thing happened at night when we lay to sleep, we discover that the bed has only 1 person sheet (150x200cm) :D That was a nightmare, I tried to call the reception, no one took the phone for almost 20 minutes. We tried to sleep with that small sheet and did not enjoy the experience as it was too small. We travel a lot and this was the first hotel where we had such bedding issues. I think it's better not to include those luxury amenities like l'occitane and invest that money in better service.
