We were made welcome and the rooms were a good size. It was clean. A 20 minute walk to Galle Fort and a 5 minute walk to a quiet beach.
It all felt a bit dated. Unfortunately, they are building a property right next door which didn’t make the outside appearance very appealing.

location is pretty decent, ~10mins to the beach, and ~10mins tuktuk ride to galle fort. Enjoyed provided hairdryer, good AC, also coffee and kettle in the room. Terrace with palms is also nice, but we didn’t have time to enjoy time there.
the smell was moldy, and all sheets had this smell, so if you’re sensitive to smell - that can be an issue. Towels were also not on thier first rodeo, so some refreshment would be nice. Overal amenities need some attention, the place have potential if it would be properly taken care.

Nice, varied breakfasts each day we stayed here. The owners were lovely, really helpful + even took a tuk tuk driver to task for overcharging us! Room was spacious and clean.
Some construction on the same site — but didn’t notice it at all while we were here, as there was no noise.
