Severe cockroach infestation — unsuitable for living

The apartment was severely infested with cockroaches. They were present throughout the accommodation. Even after pest treatment, cockroaches continued coming out and crawling everywhere, making the apartment unsuitable for living. Our family had to leave before the end of the stay. The management agreed to provide a full refund and received our bank details, but the refund has still not been paid. We have extensive photo and video evidence of the infestation. Formal complaints are now being prepared for Booking.com, NSW Fair Trading under the mandatory NSW Short-term Rental Accommodation Code, and the City of Sydney Health and Building Unit. If the refund remains unpaid, we are also preparing a consumer claim to NCAT. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property.

Pequeno flat com localização excelente, próximo da estação de trem Central e Redfern. Proximo de Surri Hills e de varias opcoes de onibus para ir para as praias. E tambem deste local, fazendo uma caminhada de 30 minutos voce pode chegar ao Circular Quay.

Nada a apontar. Apenas alguns detalhes no apartamento que foram passados diretamente ao anfitriao, que sao simples de melhorar. Por exemplo: colchão da cama parecia estar muito desgastado por uso prolongado, alta pressao da agua na torneira da pia da cozinha, interruptor de luz do quarto com mau contato.
