Reviews

7 / 10

The location is great but it is better suited to a short stay and small group

The location is fantastic (close to metro, grocery stores, quieter and less touristy neighborhood) and beds are comfortable and the place was quiet and clean. The pictures were an honest description of what the place was like albeit the living space is tight for a group larger than 4 people.

The apartment is minimally appointed (no toiletries: not even hand soap, no coffee, no salt or pepper, no clothes washing detergent, no basic instructions other than how to get the key). It is also inside a courtyard so quite dark and the windows open essentially either into nothing or into neighbors. Very little ventilation (smells a bit musty) and the moment you open the window you get tobacco/marijuana smells. You need to be a tall person or stand on a stool to get to the key box. The host was nice enough on check in and check out but once we checked in there was no further communication except to be given the check out instructions. I felt value for money was poor, but then this is Paris, and I assume it is easy to get away with high prices.
