Not bad

Good location. Looks better in the picture. Whole wall mirror. Kitchen is nice. Good instructions for entry and check in and out.

Close to the main street where was doing construction which made it a bit noisy. Duvet sets were not comfortable. A bit trouble with the deposit but stuffs were nice and patient. Not sure how the payment works but the bank paid it back in the end which is nice.

Would gladly rent this place again!

We travel a lot, often get such apartments. This was one of the best ones yet! Location is literally around the block from a main central plaza where the tourist information office is located as well as the Monoprix supermarket. The apartment is not large but fully well renovated and really everything is there including towels, soap, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, dishwashing-soap etc. so one can cook, eat and clean up. There is a 2 burner induction stove, microwave, toaster, water-cooker, coffee-machine. Some coffee capsules, tea and packets of sugar were provided as well as salt and pepper (but no other spices or oil). How to get the key is often a complicated ordeal but they sent a helpful video that showed exactly how it works and we had no problem. One goes through and behind the building, gets the key out of a key safe and uses the back door, take the elevator to the 2nd floor, outside along a balcony to the apartment entrance. The Wi-Fi worked well, the TV is a very nice Samsung but it didn't get the channels always so easy; sometimes it worked right away, other times we had to play with the controls for 15 minutes to get it to work. Had lots of French channels of course but also about 10 German ones and a couple of English language news ones. The street in front is a bit busy and the large windows to this side are well insulated so we heard little noise but it was January so we didn't have these windows open except to air through before and after sleeping. There is a small window by the kitchen and one in the bathroom that face behind where it is completely quiet. But In summer it might be loud if one wants to have the main windows open.

We had to pay a 300 Euro deposit to cover any damages. I understand why one would want this but it is the first time we had to pay such a thing and trust that we will get all of it back since we left the apartment clean and without damages. Making the deposit was a bit strange since it goes over another website. Beds24Com. It didn’t accept PaPal or accept my Mastercard but I managed with my Visa card. A notice came that the payment was accepted and that within 2 hours we would get a further confirmation from bookingCom - but it never came. I was honestly staring to wonder if it was a fraud but then we finally got (after 1 ½ days) the instructions and video how to get in.

Expérience décevante concernant la gestion de la caution. Nous avons reçu plusieurs fois des liens de paiement pour la caution, ce que j’ai trouvé assez inhabituel. Après notre départ, 65 € ont été retenus pour un dommage que nous contestons. J’ai demandé des photos et un justificatif à plusieurs reprises, mais je n’ai reçu aucune réponse. Manque de communication et de transparence. Dommage, car cela laisse une très mauvaise impression du séjour.

Séjour malheureusement gâché par la gestion de la caution après notre départ. L’établissement a prélevé 65 € en affirmant qu’un petit meuble situé au-dessus des toilettes avait été endommagé. Nous contestons ce dommage, car à notre connaissance nous n’avons rien détérioré pendant notre séjour. J’ai demandé à plusieurs reprises des photos du dommage constaté ainsi qu’un justificatif expliquant le montant de 65 €. Malgré mes messages et ma relance, je n’ai reçu aucune réponse ni aucun justificatif. Je trouve regrettable qu’un montant puisse être retenu sur une caution sans fournir au client les éléments permettant de vérifier et de comprendre cette facturation, et surtout sans répondre lorsqu’il demande des explications. Cette absence de communication et de transparence me laisse une très mauvaise impression du séjour. C’est la raison de ma mauvaise note.
