Great location -we were travelling by train and it was perfect for local amenities and transport -couldn’t have been easier
It was a very nicely done out We liked the 70s vibe in the decoration and having the bedroom upstairs
Lovely that tea coffee milk olive oil salt pepper etc was available plus cleaning stuff - makes such a difference
Quick response when we had a problem with the WiFi
The recommendation for Penlee gardens also led to us enjoying a live music gig there which we could have missed

We really enjoyed the character of the cottage - everything felt very homey and comfy. Being close to town and the train and bus stations was also a huge bonus - it's an ideal cottage for doing day trips from.
The bathroom got extremely hot in the hot weather from the skylight - took a while to cool down.

Location was central and easy to get to from station. Centrally located to shop, and coast. There was good communication with host via email.
WiFi excellent.
Cooker easy to use.
The underfloor heating not working. though the fan heater was good. Heating upstairs warm.
Downstairs needs attention with cleanliness, it felt grimy and not fresh, TLC is needed with a deep clean. The remote controls need a sanitised clean up and the one remote needs replacing due to broken cover. It was smaller than expected esp. kitchen, though adequate. The staircase is steep.

Whirlygig Cottage is a beautifully cozy place to stay. The hosts have clearly tried to think of everything that would make your visit as enjoyable as it could possibly be. We loved the retro decor and furniture!
