We originally were booked in a corporate hotel in Rome quite far out of the city. Not suitable for tourists with no car and travel links were not great...locations or timewise! Awful food too. Looked on here and found this gem of a place and booked it immediately for the rest of our Rome trip. Bit of a trip to get there but it was well worth it. Shops, bus, train and restaurants easy walking distance away. Everything you will need in the apartment is available to use. The bed and pillows are so comfortable and the view from the back balcony is amazing. Totally recommend booking this for a wonderful experience and the host is great.

Het uitzicht vanaf het terras en de mogelijkheid om eenvoudig met de trein naar Rome te reizen.
Verder is alles aanwezig wat je nodig bent.

Diese Wohnung ist perfekt. Sie liegt in einer sehr gepflegten und ruhigen Gegend und ist nicht weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Man kann dort problemlos parken. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die Küche ist gepflegt und super ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Bad super sauber, heisses Wasser ohne Probleme. Schlafzimmer, ein unfassbar gemütliches Bett, Rollläden und Klima, Top. Das Highlight ist die grosse Terrasse auf der man gemütlich gemeinsam essen kann, mit tollem Ausblick. Alles in allem bisher für uns eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir bisher in Italien hatten (wir sind im Jahr 4 bis 5 mal in Italien und hatten somit schon viele Unterkünfte). Grosses danke an den superfreundlichen Gastgeber Maurizio. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

I enjoyed my stay at this apartment, which offers a respite from the city and the crowds. High ceilings and lots, lots of space. Everything was clean, well-decorated, and well thought out. I often ate breakfast on the terrace and could contemplate the beautiful view, which was an amazing way to start my days. Also, I liked that the apartment had an office. As a writer, it was one of the most inspiring places I've ever been in.
I stayed in June, so having AC was critical for me. With two ACs in two different rooms, I could return to a cold environment after days spent under the 35°C sun.
The apartment is about 40-45 mins from the historical city center, in a more suburban area, but this distance goes by quickly as you admire the countryside and nearby areas. I had to do a transfer most of the time, from the first train to another, or to the metro. Once you figure it out, it’s easy to understand, as destinations are well indicated. From La Giustiniana Station, I went north to visit Bracciano, which has a medieval village and a castle. It was a highlight of my trip! And it was not that far away, maybe 30-40 mins by train.
Also, the apartment is well-situated because:
1) the train station is a 5 min walk
2) there is a bus stop nearby
3) there are grocery stores at 5-10 min walking distance (Todis and NaturaSi), if you want to cook a bit or prepare breakfast
4) there is a tabacchi almost in front of the building, which is practical to buy a weekly commute pass
The communication with the host, Maurizio, was straightforward, and he was responsive. For example, I needed help with the washing machine, and he quickly answered me on WhatsApp. I didn’t meet him, as I got the keys from a lockbox (about which indications were clear as well). Highly recommend!
There was construction in the building starting sometimes at 8 am, though I understand that this was not a hotel. Being an early riser, it was not a problem for me.
