Great location, two beaches, shops all in walking distance. Well equipped and comfortable. Sound system good. Played music in living room from phone. Which was fun
The light switch meant you couldn't close the door in the living room - irritating.

Lots of free on road parking but have to walk up front garden which is a bit narrow with hedges either side so bear in mind with any big/heavy bags. Large garden good for dogs. Huge bath but circle shower curtain is a hindrance not help. Able to walk 5 minutes to Tesco and cooperative supermarkets and flat walk to sea front and high street shops. Quiet road out front fortunately as all windows are single pane glass. Heating easy to turn up if needed. Good internet access.
Carpet runner needed on stairs as quite loud walking up and down them. Needs some rugs in bedrooms. Living room door does not close as light switch sticks out. Small sofa in living room. We brought our own footstool for comfort after reading other reviews but it’s still was uncomfortable. No lights working in pantry which would be needed now getting darker. Need to bring wood if you want a fire. Tv little small appreciate it’s trying not to impact theme of house but gets Roku channels (we are not keen on these) and can access Netflix Amazon prime. More storage needed in bedrooms. Huge bath but circle shower curtain is a hindrance not help.

Location great for walkers. Also nice to be away from the busyness of the high street. There is a little bit of road noise but it didnt bother us and very quiet overnight. Great bath and comfortable beds / clean bedding. House is warm and suprisingly cosy despite wooden floor boards.
A few small touches could make the place feel a bit more loved- perhaps a small lamp in the lounge and some curtains in the dining room. We had a bit of a struggle with the keys initially and the locks could perhaps do with being updated.

I appreciate that this was a house that was trying to be authentic to its era 1928. But the lounge room was really not comfortable for 4 people - the couch was tiny and hard. There were hardly any sockets and none in the kitchen so that made things very awkward. The shower leaked through the ceiling, so I wanted to move the toaster but there was nowhere else for it to go, so I feel that was a hazard. The kettle was on the edge of the table (and no flexibility to move it), just as you entered the kitchen, so again a hazard for anyone (especially a child!)
