Not a great review writer, and I dont do reviews often. Overall a very good stay. Probably the best BnB I have stayed in; I have stayed in a few bad ones (shed in a backyard with chickens). We are generally used to staying in hotels, so we did manage our expectations. Hosts were great, home-cooked breakfast was very good (apologies we didnt know how to cancel B/F on Sunday morning), room was clean and comfortable, and house/grounds/rooms were beautiful. We appreciated our stay, and would stay again.
The wifi was okay, but it is a weather-dependant provider. The TV service didnt work, which would have been great for winding down at the end of the day, but we didnt come to NOLA to watch TV.

We had an amazing week, staying in the Happy House. Constanze is a great host, super friendly and answered all our questions. The room was beautiful, big and really well decorated, just like the whole house. It is the perfect place to stay in New Orleans, close to everything, bikes available, awesome breakfast and so much more. Thank you for making our stay unforgetable!

Impressive colonial-era house with antique furniture. Breakfast was excellent.
The rooms are in the 2nd floor with steep and uncomfortable stairs and without elevator
