The view is absolutely amazing, probably the best thing about the resort. Unfortunately, that was also the highlight of our stay.

What isn’t made clear when booking is how inaccessible the resort is. It’s very high up a hill, with lots of stairs, and the nearby village can only be reached by foot at low tide. The path back isn’t clearly marked, and staff couldn’t properly explain how to get back. I ended up cutting my feet and hitting my head on the track. The buggy only runs until 11pm, so after that you’re left walking up the stairs to your bungalow. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with young children or anyone with mobility issues. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, but the AC was extremely loud and would periodically make a banging noise, almost like an airplane turbine. It made sleeping really difficult, and we often had to turn it off completely — which then made the room too hot to sleep in. Because of the location, you’re also quite dependent on the resort restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was very average and they were constantly out of menu items. Almost every order started with a list of what they didn’t have. One day, watermelon was the only fruit available for smoothies, and a portion of fries came with literally around eight fries. Communication was another major issue. Before arriving, I contacted the resort several times to arrange a boat transfer and received no response, so we had to organise it ourselves.

Don’t go there unless you want to remain I the structure. You can get taxi boats but it’s 30 minutes from the city center and it’s 1000/2000 bath each person to go. It’s the worst spot you wanna be. But if you’re rich and don’t care about the money and the 30 minutes of boat than you can go! The service is mid, nothing crazy. The view from the structure is really beautiful but i don’t think it compensate the fact that you’re stuck there. Paying 1k-1.5k baht each way is way too much. In Long Beach you pay 100-150 baht for 10 minutes rides.
