Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im The Nest und haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Familie war unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, wirklich willkommen zu sein.
Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und familiär und wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen. Auch die Lage in der Nähe von Hiriketiya war für uns ideal.
Als kleinen Verbesserungspunkt würden wir die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit im Zimmer erwähnen. Zudem gab es im Badezimmer stellenweise etwas Schimmel. Eine bessere Belüftung oder Entfeuchtung würde den ansonsten sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt noch verbessern.

We loved our stay here, lovely family with a private Homestay (detached from main house), made us breakfast each morning and helped us with everything we asked. Very clean and within 8 minute walk to main beach area - would love to come back

We loved our stay here at the nest and even ended up extending another 3 nights in the other room, so we have experienced both and can honestly say they were both great. staff were lovely and so accommodating, there are choices for breakfast each morning which is nice and everything was clean and comfortable.
beware of the dogs late in the evening. the walk back from the main area includes walking past a lot of stray dogs, which isn't an issue but we felt we startled a few on the way back due to the roads being so dark that they barked a lot and slightly put us on edge. would definitely be easier to get a tuktuk back, although this is difficult later at night. also some puppies or younger dogs near the homestay, which were lovely but wanted to play bite and without rabies vaccines this is a bit scary 😂
