FALSE ADVERTISING -BEWARE

The person fielding the calls for the overseas owner was lovely tried to help was empathetic.

The advertising for this property was a 1bedroom cosy cottage with Private mineral spa and country garden which sold me on property after long day adventuring.That is not what we found when arrived. There were other people there staying on property in cabins and using spa as well. It did not make any reference that the outside property was shared and housed cabins that used a outdoor kitchen which was at entrance to the cottage it had a outside toilet and the spa.I rung the number on whiteboard to complain she rung owners. I said I was upset and needed time to process and i'd take I look if there was other accommodation around if possible. Which there wasn't at all at the time. Rung back and they said owner cancelled booking then went on to say it had been double booked with another site and there was a mistake with other website and that we'd have to leave because someone else was coming and they'd refunded booking.com and I d get my money back. I didn't get money back. Upset angry we drove 3hrs home after a long day already got home in the middle of the night. SO BEWARE PROPERTY IS NOT PRIVATE IT IS SHARED GARDEN & SPA WITH COMMUNAL OUTSIDE KITCHEN ON ENTRY WAY (PLUS THE SPA LOOKED GROTTY) I' don't believe it was double booked I believe she thought I wouldn't be able to review her property $ 180.00 down the drain

No air con house was stuffy hot, had no air flow, fan was full of dust, pillows had a old musty fragrance.

Bush setting.

It did not live up to the promise portrayed on line. It was run down and the grounds were untidy. I had anticipated going for a swim in the pool, but I did.not because it looked unserviced and unhygienic. The price was far too high for what was offered.

The mineral pool was nice, and location of the property

The fact that we were completely unaware there were going to be other people there in cabins with a communal kitchen outside our door and next to the mineral pool. There is nothing in the description that even hints that this is something to consider. We were under the impression from the advertisement that we were renting all of the property. The listing also says there's a kitchen but doesn't state no oven available. As a result we couldn't eat half the food we took as we needed an actual oven. Some board games or something would also have been good for entertainment.
