Lovely family hotel 10/10 .
Initially we planned to stay for 4 nights and then move to Weligama for 4 more nights . But we loved this family & their attitude so much , that we eventually end up staying 8 nights in the Nord Mirissa .
If you are reading this review , you definitely should stop looking and choose this apartments :)
In case I didn’t persuade you , let me tell you 2 stories:
1. I had otitis . And Anura (family father) drove me on his tuk-tuk to the hospital and waited for 1 hour , while I stayed there . In the end of this small adventure he refused to take money from me ! He said that I felt bad and we just wanted to help
2. We run out of cash on 5th day of our stay and were left without any physical debit card (so that I couldn’t just wither money in a ATM) . Nipun (son of Anura , who is responsible for online things) offered to exchange my crypto into cash without any commissions of whatsoever .
Everything was in moderation . Food was delicious and plenty , maybe even more than enough . Everything was clean and on time . Perfect ! 🤩

The service was amazing. The owners dad provided us with amazing breakfast everyday and tea and we cannot recommend this place enough to anyone wanting to explore Mirissa and nearby towns

It was soo clean. I can say that the sheets was spotless which is a very rare thing in hotels/airbnbs. The room and toilets were absolutely spanking clean. The host family were a delight and there were ever ready to help us whenever we needed. The mattress was comfortable with no bed bugs and the pillows were high quality. Also the breakfast they served was absolutely delicious and with alot of quantity. We will definitely come back to NORD whenever we return to Mirissa. The water pressure was also amazing and the fan and air cond was great as it was very ventilated. Also it was nearby to everything. You can walk everywhere.
