The place was really cute and lovely! The hosts were really nice and even brought us to Matara to catch our bus. The distance from the beach is perfect! It’s like 5 to 10 minutes walk, but it’s quiet enough and you can’t hear the city noises. The monkeys and fireflies in the garden were really cool too 😄
The breakfast wasn’t really good. Bread wasn’t toasted very long, so it seemed like it was old bread.

Although the family room was a little cramped, it hadaa good shower and comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic! The lady owner made us delicious string hoppers with dahl curry and the most amazing coconut sambol. There was also omelettes and bread. This hotel was walking distance from a very nice and reasonably priced restaurant called No 1 Dewmini Roti Shop. They have very tasty rotis.
Our room had rather poor WiFi and we had to go out, close to the main house to get a good connection.

Location was OK, 7-10 minute walk to main beach. Bed is comfortable. Some rooms are better than others, but it is affordable.
Rooms are quite cramped, not all have wardrobe or space for suitcases - especially for 2 people. One window could not close. Cleanliness was OK. WiFi did not reach all rooms. Shared kitchen is okay but unorganized.
