The cottage was loaded with heritage but had the mod cons of heating and a well set up kitchen. If you expect 5 star hotel stay this is not for you. If like us you want a cottage full of charm, quirks, character and great location to explore the vines and coastvthis is gor you. We spent a day due to really bad cold weather in the cosy kitchen nook, loving the views, playing cards, cooking up a storm and enjoying wine we had bought in region plus the great bottle of shiraz provided by host. My friend loved the bath tub on deck that was really hot compared to the 2C windchill weather we experienced. Heating got the cottage warm and it remained warm for rest of weekend.

2 nights wasnt long enough! Lugging an enormous suitcase up the hill - recommend packing lighter next time 😀

It is so beautiful and relaxing inside. Very clean and everything provided 😃 Magnificent views and lovely decor. Very comfortable beds.

My only problem is that I didn't know that it was a very steep pathway from the road. I unfortunately have a heart condition which caused me a problem when trying to go up the path. The property is not for elderly or disabled 😕 but fabulous for the fit and healthy ❤️

Moderately steep path down to cottage...would benefit from a hand rail to make it safer for those staying at the cottage...particularly when arriving with 🧳 luggage.
