Banksia is beautifully located and we really enjoyed waking to the sounds of the countryside. The cottage itself is small, but well designed and very comfortable. A really magical place to spend Christmas.
We really enjoyed the cottage, but some of the facilities hadn’t really been thought through. For example, the kitchen isn’t particularly well planned. It’s light on cooking tools (there are three colanders, but no wooden spoon or tea pot etc). Similarly, the cottage is dog friendly, which is brilliant, but with dogs come a need to regularly clean. There was no mop or brush to allow to keep on top of muddy dog paws.

The property was absolutely beautiful and in a great location to explore.
Just little things - There was nowhere to eat although space for small table in the kitchen, no matches to light the fire and garden seating area needs attention
