Great location. We paid for what we got.
The facilities have seen better days - the main bed kept collapsing and we couldn’t turn off the kitchen light because the fridge was too big.

I had a great and very comfortable stay in this apartment, it suited my needs very well. It looks like in the pictures and it feels more spacious than in the pictures. Since it is on the ground floor there are barely any steps to climb. The street is rather quiet in a nice central neighborhood in Istanbul. The apartment is in good condition, very nice, tidy and clean. There were new mattresses brought into one of the bedrooms while I was outside sightseeing, and they looked good. Ahmet and the house keeper are very nice, responsive and helpful, always looking I had everything I needed. They even brought me some cutlery late in the evening, minutes after I asked for it. Ahmet was very flexible with the check in and checkout times, and also to extend my stay.
Since the apartment is on the ground floor there is very little natural light and it is rather dark even in the middle of the day. That was not a problem for me since I was out during the day. The street is rather quiet but I could hear the neighbors coming in and out the building slamming the street door in the evening, but closing the bedroom door solved that. The apartment is in good condition, although the bathroom could use some new paint and cabinet and the kitchen could have a few more dishes, since the apartment is meant to accommodate several people. The internet connection can be a bit glitchy, I had frequently problems to connect. The WI-FI signal is just not strong enough in the ground floor.
