The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean, modern and in a great location. The balcony was a lovely bonus, and the Smart TV came in really handy. Overall, it was a really nice apartment
The biggest issue was collecting the key. I understand there were problems with the key safe, but it meant I had to wait outside the building until someone was either leaving or entering so they could let me in. I ended up standing outside for quite a while and even had to knock on the glass and ask a passer-by to let me in, which was quite embarrassing. I appreciate these things can happen, but it was really inconvenient after travelling.
The apartment was also very warm. There was no air conditioning, and although a fan was provided, it didn't make much difference. The beds weren't the most comfortable either.
Other than those points, i had a good stay and were happy with everything else.

The apartment is in a convenient location to Kingston town center and train station.
We rented this apartment for 19 days at £2,300 ($3,300 USD), and unfortunately felt misled and taken advantage of.
The apartment was advertised as having two beds, but there was only one bed and an air mattress. The living-room sofa does not pull out into a bed, and having two proper sleeping spaces was one of the reasons we chose this property.
Cleanliness and maintenance were also below what we expected at this price. There was mold in the bathtub/shower, wet towels left in the laundry area, and signs that the apartment had not been thoroughly cleaned or checked between guests. The kitchen was poorly equipped for a 19-day stay, with incomplete silverware, only one knife, chipped dishes and mugs, pots without lids, and a blender without a lid. Several of these issues had also been mentioned in previous reviews.
We contacted the owners early in our stay and they offered to bring additional items. However, the issue was not any one missing item—it was the cumulative experience of paying a premium price for an apartment that was inaccurately represented and not properly prepared.
We were also told by the building concierge that short-term rentals are not permitted in the building. We cannot independently verify this, but it raised serious concerns, particularly given the insistence on an in-person key handoff, only one key being provided for three guests for 19 days, and the lack of balcony furniture. Taken together, these details made us question whether the rental was being operated in accordance with the building’s rules.
Overall, the individual problems were manageable, but the combination of an inaccurate listing, inadequate cleanliness and maintenance, premium pricing, and concerns about whether short-term rentals are permitted in the building left us feeling deeply disappointed and taken advantage of.
