I liked that the property had a driveway.
The house was cosy and okay. Nice touch with the desks in the rooms. Lucky (the host) was more than accommodating when I had to call to ask him to get the neighbour to move their car from in front of the gate. Also gave me a later check out time.
I didn't like the wooden flooring upstairs, when someone was upstairs you could hear every footstep! Especially the wheeled chair in one of the rooms.
The decor like the painting does need updating/redoing. Also consider moving the double bed around in the smaller room so you can access both sides of the bed without climbing over the other person. I was expecting the larger room to have both the singles put together as a double (they zip together) but they were left singles and I didn't want to move the furniture myself.

It was functional and it was relatively quiet during our stay. The shower room was fairly modern and the house was clean enough.
It is nowhere near being luxury as described. Apart from the shower room the rest of the place looks tired and some of the repair work in certain areas is amateurish. No plug in the kitchen sink to allow washing of dishes. The dials on the cooker are worn so its guesswork on the oven and grill. Private parking not possible as someone was parked in front of the gate. Overall it served our purpose for a couple of nights but they are being a wee bit naughty with their descriptions.
