This was the perfect relaxing getaway for us! It is a bit of a drive to a town, but we loved the country roads. Our main reason for visiting was to explore the International Owl Center in Houston and to visit family. Both were easy to do from this setting. Sitting on the porch in the evening was extremely enjoyable!

Charming farm house. Felt like home. We stayed here cause it was quite close to Root River bike trail. Also went to see the Owl Center in Houston.
