About this house rental
Come stay in our beautiful, family & dog friendly mid-century home in the forested hills of South Eugene! We live here part time and like to share our quiet sanctuary with others. We love this home and the location and know you will too! There is a fenced backyard for your pup, and great separation of space for family and friends, with a master bedroom and living room upstairs, and two bedrooms and a family room downstairs, each with a fireplace if you're spending a raining evening in.
The space
Our home was built in the Eugene South Hills in 1965 by a local architect in the Frank Lloyd Wright style.
The architect and his family were the original owners of the home until we were fortunate enough to buy it from the family. As the proud 2nd owners of this one of a kind home we have tried to remain true to the original style, while updating it for modern living.
The beauty of the outdoors is captured in every room with large doors and windows that really do make you feel like you are in a tree house! There are 3 separate patio areas to relax and enjoy, that give you views from every direction.
There are grocery stores, great restaurants and bars within a short walk or drive from our home. There are also several parks and great hikes/runs/bike rides available outside the front door with official trails less than 1/4 mile away, including the Amazon River Trail.
The University of Oregon campus and all the sport facilities are about 3 miles away. Additionally, downtown is also less than 3 miles away. This is the ideal location for visiting wineries, waterfalls, kayaking, the Oregon coast, national forests, hot springs - all the best of this beautiful area is only 30-45 minutes away!
Guest access
Access is simple and secure. Each stay will be issued a unique security code to access the front door electronic lock. In the unusual event of a power outage or other issue with the electronic lock there is also a lockbox on the property with a backup key.
This Eugene house boasts 3 inviting bedrooms with 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. The cozy living room also offers 2 twin air mattress beds for extra sleeping space. Guests can unwind in the 2 pleasant bathrooms equipped with a hairdryer and bathtub. With amenities like a washing machine, WiFi, AC, heating, iron, and hairdryer, your stay will be superb. Fall in love with Eugene and enjoy the magic it has to offer.
