The neighbourhood is perfect for a stay, it’s good to come home from the city centre after a long day and have a beautiful meal and a few drinks in such a pretty setting.
Nothing it was perfect.

I'm so glad we chose Eos Retreat for our first visit to Rome. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The apartment was spacious, pristine, relaxing, and had every facility we needed.
The location was perfect, in the heart of Trastevere but just far enough off the main tourist walkways to not be disturbed by the noise. The church bells chime outside the window and you hear the occasional laughter of passer bys which only added to the whole experience and is considered a positive.
The communication from the owners was immediate, personal and informative, with good advice on taxi services, nearest minimart ( 50m away) and anbud questions we had about our accommodation.
If you are looking for a safe haven in the heart of Trastevere in a beautiful traditonal building with the beauty of Rome at your fingertips then I can recommend Eos Retreat.
There is only one let down which did not spoil our visit. There was no access to the pool. We packed our swimmers and planned a day by the pool into our trip to relax and unwind only to be told the pool/garden area would not be open. The weather was perfect for a dip (25 degrees in October). I would suggest not advertising the pool if access is not going to be included in the stay. My 12 year old daughter was disappointed but on a positive, it gave more time to visit other sites 😊
