Nice Place with a View of the Water

The house is lovely and welcoming. Very clean and a nice spot to gather. We did take out for dinner so we could enjoy the house as we were only there one night.

Nice Place but Arrogant Host Accepting EMT Only

It was a comfortable property, well equipped kitchen. Nice layout for two couples with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was a hot tub in a separate area off the porch but we didn't know that we could use it with the same code until later.

Initially hard to find the house. Most difficult was not knowing what form of payment was required and 'pay at property' was indicated. So we find out that ONLY an EMT was acceptable, no cash, no credit card. Our phones were not working in NL, so we could not do an EMT. Finally the host allowed us to pay with cash through his cleaner. The arrogant host, who sounded British, could not meet us to accept the cash because he said that he had to go to work. Although the property was nice, I would not rent with him again. He had no care in the world about our dilemma, nor that we would be without a receipt. So I wrote up a receipt that his cleaner would sign for the cash received. Certainly not your typical friendly Newfoundlander.
