Our stay at Rarau Retreat was extraordinary! The hosts are amazing—extremely attentive to guests' wishes and needs—and we felt like part of the family. The location is absolutely gorgeous, everything is done with great attention to detail, the rooms are large, comfortable and impeccable! The breakfast was delicious and varied, always featuring local specialties. The hotel restaurant offered a diverse menu, with dishes prepared with great care. Un loc in care linistea este la ea acasa si peisajele sunt o incantare pentru ochi si sufletele. Rafinamentul si confortul se regasesc pana si in cele mai mici detalii. Bucatele servite sunt o incantare pentru simturi, indiferent ca este mic dejun, pranz sau cina. Dar mai presus de toate sunt gazdele, modul in care au ales sa isi trateze oaspetii care le trec pragul, zambetele cu care te intampina mereu, discretia si caldura cu care stiu sa iti faca sederea la ei un adevarat rasfat.

The location was absolutely amazing, with a breathtaking view, an absolutely astounishing mountain side in the heart of the forest. The design of the hotel is really nice, combining modern with elegant and simple. The rooms are absolutely amazing, large, clean, comfy, with amazing balconies. The dishes in the restaurant are delicious, and the staff and owners are kind, warm, welcoming, and just nice people.
The rooms shouls be equiped with a better air conditioning system, as well as insect screens at the windows, as mosquitos are quite common in such an area and can transform the nights in a challenge. The breakfast would benefit for an improvement in terms of options, especially with regards to coffee, drinks, and sweets.
