A very new and tastefully decorated small B&B run by a super-friendly brother and sister from Guimarães. Everything was spotless, and I felt right at home the whole time. Breakfast was simple but high quality with fresh fruit as well as bread and pastries from a local pastelaria. The location is fantastic, you can get to the castle in 10 minutes and to Praça de São Tiago in under 5, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants. At the same time, it’s not in the middle of things, so it’s pretty quiet. All in all, it’s truly an excellent choice for Guimarães, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
I would have liked more space to store clothes and/or other things. There's only a few clothes hangers and no cupboard. For a short stay (which probably most guests will do in Guimarães) is really not that big of a deal.
